When I was looking at the paintings and planning out how I wanted my tableau to look I decided a four poster bed would be the best thing to use as it shows the status of my character as well as looking quite old fashioned. I struggled to find a way of using a four poster bed at first as I didn’t have one and I couldn’t use one from a hotel or anything as I wanted to shoot outside. Then I came across this canopy online and thought I looked perfect. This way I could use it to create the illusion of a four poster bed but it also looked old, elegant and mysterious.
