I Loved the Lighting and overall atmosphere in this film still from Maleficent. The low Key lighting creates the mysterious dark tone to the image but also highlights specific sections of the picture. In this case, the horns and face are lit, drawing the audiences attention. I could use this in my own work to make specific objects or models stand out.

As I’m using a bed in the centre of my image. I looked for dramatic lighting on furniture. I came across this image and I loved the contrast from the black background to the light subject. As i intend to use a white fabric covering my bed, i think i could use controlled lighting to separate a dramatically lit fabric/bed and have the background darker for effect.
